Empowered21 African Congress 2018

You are invited to the Empowered21 African Congress, Johannesburg 16-19 May 2018

Dear Pastors, church & ministry leaders,

The African Cabinet of Empowered21 invites all Spirit-empowered churches & ministries with all your pastors, volunteers and leaders to attend (including youth, women and children’s ministry leaders). Join anointed musicians from across Africa in worship and receive impartation from more than 30 Global and African Leaders in the track and main sessions.

Empowered21 is an organization that is helping to shape the future of the Spirit-empowered movement throughout the world. It is open to all Spirit-empowered churches, ministries, organizations, networks and fellowships. It is led by a Global Council, consisting of esteemed international denominational and ministry leaders that gives inspirational oversight to 14 regional cabinets across the world. (Links below)

Our vision is "that every person on Earth would have an authentic encounter with Jesus Christ through the Power and Presence of the Holy Spirit… by Pentecost 2033".

This vision mirrors the great commission and connects to the basic vision of every Christian church. The question we need to ask however, is how can we work together to accomplish this great task? We do not seek to replace existing networks or initiatives, but rather to connect more effectively with each other.

For this reason we are hosting the Empowered21 African Congress. Ten focus areas have been identified and we want to establish network structures from continental to national levels for each of these focus areas. We invite you to join us with all your pastors, youth pastors, lay leaders and representatives who would be interested in serving and networking together with other African leaders for each of the following focus areas:

  • Evangelism Discipleship
  • Prayer networks
  • Women’s ministry
  • Children’s ministry
  • Next Generation Youth Network (NGYN)
  • Theological scholars
  • Advocacy & prophetic leadership
  • Humanitarian aid & disaster relief Christian
  • Business Network

There will be 12 inspirational tracks with discussions and planning for each. The above topics will be covered as well as two specialist sessions on “deliverance and prophetic ministry challenges” & “reaching people with disabilities”. On Saturday 19 May 2018 the program will focus on intergenerational impartation. Young people, youth pastors & leaders are invited to participate in the sessions hosted by the Next Generation Network (NGN).
