Genius of One Conference

As part of celebrating 10 years of partnership between the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe (EFZ) and Living Water International (LWI), EFZ, together with LWI and The Crossing Church, hosted the Genius of One (GOO) Conference in Harare on 21–22 October 2025. This brought together over 680 leaders from churches, para- church organizations, corporates, and communities nationwide. The conference emphasized unity within the Body of Christ, in line with Jesus’ prayer in John 17. The focus was on building emotionally and spiritually healthy relationships through key themes such as conflict resolution, forgiveness, and the use of language that preserves community. It inspired renewed interdenominational collaboration and commitments to adopt the Genius of One curriculum in discipleship and leadership programs. GOO remains a powerful leadership and discipleship resource, and members are encouraged to reach out to the Secretariat for more information or training.

Following intensive campaigns on social media platforms, EFZ held a grand seminar to ice the cake. Over a hundred women graced the occasion at the Harare Harvest House International Church. The occasion presented a platform for women to reflect on the journey towards women ministry and development in Zimbabwe from post-Independence to date, navigating through the successes, challenges and future prospects that could be used as stepping stones by other young women. The seminar also unpacked issues of equal opportunities, basic rights and other fundamental freedoms. The EFZ women have pledged their commitment to provide mentorship opportunities for young women who are on the verge of entering ministry development and this will be done through provision appropriate skills and experience
