PROFILE

EFZ President

Bishop Never Muparutsa is a holder of a Master of Arts in Leadership and Development from the University of Zimbabwe. He holds a Diploma in Humanitarian Diplomacy from the International College of Peace Studies. A certificate in Peace and Mediation from Africa University in conjunction with the Berghof Foundation. He is currently studying for a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership at the Pan Africa Christian University (Kenya).

He is the current President of The Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe (EFZ) and leads the Boardwhich oversees over 800 member organizations covering millions of Christians in Zimbabwe. Heis also the Presiding Bishop of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Zimbabwe (PAOZ), a denominationthat has been in existence for over 70 years in Zimbabwe. In the PAOZ he sits on the ApostolicCouncil and Bishops Council Boards.

He was recently elected as the Chairman of the ZimbabweHeads of Christian Denominations (ZHOCD). His role in ZHOCD is to give leadership and guidanceon matters that concern spirituality, morality, nation-building, and good governance forsustainable holistic development through church bodies. He has traveled extensively in Zimbabwe and beyond preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ with many testimonies of miraculous signs and wonders following. He mentors and serves as a trusted adviser to eminent religious, political, business, and social leaders within Zimbabwe. Bishop Muparutsa is happily married to his friend and ministry partner, Sekai for 25 years.
