PRAYER POINTS
- Thank the Holy Spirit for His help and for always, always interceding for us.
Thank Him for: -
- Being our counsellor/advocate who is with us forever the Spirit of Truth. (John 14:16)
- Being with us and living in us – we are not left as orphans. (John 14:17-18)
- Being our teacher of all things and reminding us of all the things taught by the LORD. (John 14:26)
- Being our advantage (we are in a favourable and superior position). (John 16:7)
- Increasing our capacity to carry and bear the truth. No system overload. (John 16:12-13)
- Searching and revealing to us the deep things of God. We have insight into what God is thinking because of the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 2:10)
- Let us pray for the body of Christ in Zimbabwe to hunger for the Holy Spirit and to have a greater and deeper intimacy with the Holy Spirit.
- Let us pray for the true revelation and understanding of the work and function of the Holy Spirit. (John: 16:13-15; John 15:26; John 14:26)
- Let us pray that the Spirit of God may help the church to fulfil its mandate and calling in our nation. Let us break off timidity and be bold to declare the gospel and bring reformation in Zimbabwe. (Acts 2:14)
- Pray for the power of the Holy Spirit to cover His church in a mighty way removing all fear that might hinder the intention of God with his people. For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid but gives us power, love and self-discipline. (2 Tim 1:7)
- Pray that even as there was a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, the church in Zimbabwe and the rest of Zimbabwe will not miss their hour of visitation during the 90 Days. (Jeremiah 29:10; Luke 1:68)
- Declare “And the LORD visited Zimbabwe and did for Zimbabwe as He had spoken”. (Gen 21:1)
- Declare that our homes, the church, our businesses and our nation Zimbabwe would become a powerhouse laden with the presence and purposes of God in our time.
- Pray for a mighty harvest of souls during and after the 90 days. For daily increase and many to give their lives to Christ and come into the Kingdom of God. (John 16:8-11)
- Declare John 4:35 the fields are ripe for harvest.
- Declare John 4:38 that we will reap without striving.
- Pray for the church to be ready to receive and disciple the increase of souls.
- Declare that the church is enriched in every way, not lacking in anything. (1 Corinthians 1:5-10)
- Declare churches are already planning for this increase by stepping out in faith. They are enlarging their tents, reinforcing and repairing their foundations. (Isaiah 54:1-17)
